Wait! Before you accuse me of price gouging, let me assure you that I stared long and hard at many Excel spreadsheets trying to determine the best price for the autographed book. After many calculations involving the price of envelopes and labels, as well as taking into account all the time this endeavor will take me, $18.79 seemed like the best price. It’s not ridiculously high, but it leaves me enough of a profit to make it worth my while. Hopefully you’ll agree that the added value of a personal inscription from the author is worth an extra $2.84. If not, I totally understand.
