Good Morning Photobomb

I added a series pass for Good Morning America to my DVR recently. I watch it when I’m puttering around making coffee and breakfast in the morning because it makes me feel like I’ve woken up at a decent hour. Please note: I NEVER wake up at a decent hour. Not unless I’m forced to. I don’t always watch the screen while I listen to the stories, but I’m glad I was watching today because this happened:

Good Morning America photobomb

Do you see it?

Good Morning America

It’s a gnome! On Josh Elliott’s shoulder! Thank you to whoever executed this expert photo bomb because you truly brightened my day. I’m also impressed with your ability or luck at placing the gnome right on his shoulder. Hair Flag Lady has nothing on you.

No one acknowledged the gnome during the broadcast, and he was nowhere to be seen after they cut back to this shot after the story tape. I’m guessing that a GMA producer quickly made him “disappear” or he moved on to photobomb The Today Show instead.

OMG I love that! Thank you for sharing or else I might have missed it entirely. Nothing beats a really superb photobomb.

I was watching a news report where you could see the newsroom behind the talking head, and I was wondering if one guy knew we could all see him. Just don’t pick your nose, I thought — and then he totally did! Well, not actually pick, but you know how you do everything but … he rubbed it and scratched it and then did a quick flurry with his thumbnail just inside his nostril.

There are always cameras on you, mate. Only pick your nose in a private room with the curtains closed, or someone will see and judge you.

I am in Charleston, SC with my oldest for his spring break. (I know this is within driving distance for you, so thought I would mention it.) In a couple weeks their home and garden tour starts. Wish we had been able to come at that time, but were at mercy of school schedule. Might want to consider it, for a visit, truly beautiful area.

Oh my, that so brightened my day. As usual I’m a few months late noticing – like 8 months late – but still, it’s just as funny now as then
